Miami, FL. June 9, 2015 - A diverse cross section of Lesesne Media Group Entertainment’s film and web tv production were on display at the 5th Annual Miami Media and Film Market (MMFM) during an intimate screening of six independent original projects. The Biltmore Hotel Conference Center in Coral Gables provided an elegant backdrop for last year’s Golden Orange Award recipient for diversity after the afternoon reception. “Showing a few projects in their raw form to generate feedback and constructive criticism was uplifting because the MMFM has emerged as one of the most important industry events in the region” said Tony C. Lesesne, Co-founder and Chief Creative officer of Lesesne Media Group Entertainment.
The evening started with a screening of a short film called “GENIES” a short light-hearted comedy written and directed by Tony Lesesne, followed by “2 COPS and a DOG”; a satirical crime comedy. A short trailer the upcoming feature film “FRAT BOYZ” raised the dialogue among attendees, followed by three episodes of his spy-thriller web tv series “D-SQUAD.” Young Alexander Lesesne screened the audience favorite “NOT ANYMORE”, a bully-revenge short film and “FOR THE LOVE OF THE PACKAGE.”
“We are honored to be recipients of the Golden Orange Award for Diversity last year” said Woodie Lesesne. She added that the screening served as a “coming out” for Alexander and Cameron Lesesne and establishes Lesesne Media Group Entertainment as a multi-generational entertainment operation. She also said “the audiences were very receptive and the feedback was good and helpful. The best is yet to come.”
“The screening brought together segments of the business and the film communities in South Florida and around the globe” said Alexander Lesesne. “They opened possibilities for deals, partnerships and future collaborations” he added. His brother Cameron agreed. “The screening presented a segment of our intellectual properties and production capabilities in story-telling.” He added “the turnout, and participation was inspiring.” The Lesesne clan noted their great appreciation for MMFM and CAMACOL for seeing potential in their talents and resources as the firm continues to work with local talents and partnerships. Woodie Lesesne closed by adding that “the best is yet to come”.
