South Florida's new wave of Artistic talent - MUMFF

  1. The first-ever Miami Urban Music and Film Festival UNDERGROUND took place March 26th and as we prepare for the next MUMFF UNDERGROUND in June, there are five takeaways we must share with all of Miami and its outlying communities.

First of all the team at Lesesne Media Group Entertainment produced this event for a number of reasons including the fact that this provides us an opportunity to usher in a new generation of award-winning talent that we see on the rise. This talent is young, dynamic, diverse and creative, which we witnessed when they exploded onto the stage with each performance, and with each film screening.

MUMFF UNDERGROUND provides us an opportunity to bring together the community of people who see value in being a part of a culture that supports original local music, film and art. This is a worthy cause to be sure.

We are on a mission to have supporters show their support by not just liking a page, but by buying their tickets, bringing more people and spreading the word.

You get to hear and see original local music and films that you won’t yet hear or see on corporate controlled radio stations and TV channels. In other words, we have created new outlets through MUMFF & MUMFF UNDERGROUND live events and weekly LMG Entertainment web content that we share organically.

It is up to you too support to local artists and filmmakers; to share their music and purchase their tickets; to make this a movement that is unique to Miami and its outlying communities.

The local artists and filmmakers are real people doing really cool things. The filmmakers screening short movies were LMG Entertainment’s Alexander Lesesne and Miami filmmaker Tommy Demos.

The musical artist that took the stage included MUMFF UNDERGROUND SPOTLIGHT award recipients Zorenzo and Marnino as well as the dynamic Carolina, Center of time, COOLIN, Greatness Arose , KP Coolin, King Isaac. LA, Mikey Handz, Razor 305, St. Nick, and Zaina B.

Comedians included Manny Garavito and Paul Julmeus. Every artists not only showed up, but showed out. Be sure to take time to support all of them.

Get friends to do the same to make this movement real. Be sure to watch the LMG entertainment web tv shows each week, including the coverage from the MUMFF UNDERGROUND later this week at Follow on facebook and twitter and instagram @mumff_.

Thanks to Ford Motor Company and the Flamingo Theater for being a part of local entertainment history through MUMFF UNDERGROUND. We look forward to seeing you in June, and tell me what you think.
