The Lesesne Media Group announced today that it will be releasing new shows for the LMG web tv summer season and will expand or consolidate others into existing shows.
LMG web tv is an upstart web tv network that began producing and broadcasting a variety of seven shows designed for the web on a test basis only six months ago. The South Florida-based web tv network made the bold decision to absorb IN FOCUS Magazine, the popular print publication into what is now IN FOCUS Magazine TV.
Shows that will remain on the LMG TV production schedule through the summer and fall include BUSINESS INNOVATION, ART, CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT, AutoFOCUS, the WOMEN’S POWER NETWORK and the HOLLYWOOD SPOTLIGHT.
Each show represents a focus on issues ranging from business and politics to entertainment and fashion. LMG tv producers added that some shows did not test well and will be consolidated into existing shows.
“The summer season is a great opportunity to connect with kids who are home from school, and also build a stronger audience base” said Woodie Lesesne, President of LMG TV. “We have seen the growth in viewership across the various show platforms and we are excited to cater to early-adaptors who look for the kinds of content that we provide on the web. On the other hand, we understand that there are people who are just starting to get accustomed to enjoying original content on the web so those people are going to need more time to become weekly viewers.”
Lesesne said audiences are being reminded to watch either individually and in groups throughout the summer and the effort is making a positive impact on show decisions. “We are asking for feedback and people who are watching are sharing that feedback through e-mail, social media and at focus group meetings.” The idea is to become the most trusted web tv resource for today’s active web viewer, and that begins with this summer season and what we learn from it.”
